HackFraudTampered Ledger hardware wallets in Singapore

Singapore police reported at least two victims lost ~$2.7M from Ledger hardware wallets bought at retail stores that contained malicious components or pre-set recovery phrases known to the seller. Wallets were drained after users funded them. Ledger suspended sales via certain Asian resellers. Users should only buy directly from manufacturer and generate their own seed phrase.
