About HackFraud
HackFraud is a free tool that helps you quickly tell whether a message is a scam or phishing. It is built by the SecNews team.
Check a suspicious message now
Paste a message, link, phone number, wallet or screenshot and get a verdict with the evidence.
Check a suspicious message now →How it works
- You send a message, link, email, phone number, wallet or screenshot.
- We check the evidence (links, domains, known scam lists) and assess the content with specialised models.
- You get a verdict (scam, suspicious or safe), the red flags found and what to do next.
Accuracy
- Every result is based on many checks: links, domain age, reputation, wording and known scams.
- We show the red flags, the evidence behind the verdict and our confidence.
- Results are compared with confirmed scams and keep improving.
- We are not a bank, a police force or a legal service; if you lost money, contact your bank and the police.
- Very large or unreadable files may be only partly analysed.
Privacy
We keep what you submit for a limited time to fight abuse and improve accuracy. See the Privacy Policy. /privacy
